The list of nominees for the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) was unveiled on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Grand Arena.

Artistes like King Paluta, Team Eternity, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Black Sherif, Kweku Smoke, Joe Mettle, got nominated in the Artiste of the Year category.
Kofi Kinaata, Okyeame Kwame, Empress Gifty, Diana Hamilton, Sarkodie, Flowking Stone, Eno Barony, Lyrical Joe and others also earned spots in various categories.
The main awards ceremony will be held on May 3, 2025.

What Is TGMA?
The Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs), formerly known as the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) until 2024, is an annual music awards ceremony established in 1999 by Charter House, a Ghanaian event organizing company. Its primary purpose is to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of Ghanaian musicians to the growth of the music industry.
The design of the Ghana Music Awards trophy has evolved over the years. The current design, introduced in 2019, is a gold star plaque with a circular hole and strings on opposite faces, resembling a guitar.
The Artist of the Year is the most prestigious award presented at the TGMAs. This honor is bestowed upon the artist or group deemed by Charter House, the GMA Board, and the public to have demonstrated the highest audience appeal, radio play, online streaming presence, and overall popularity. To be eligible, the artist or group must have released a hit single or album within the year under review.
