I have taught many students this topic but how come no one ever asked me this question? Well, it had never crossed me mind too though. “What will happen if the earth stopped rotating for a second?” I was shocked as I had never imagined that. As quite embarrassing as it might look, the question dragged me to do my research, and this is what I gathered.
