Facing a dilapidated bridge over the Tano River that connects them, residents of Acherensua and Ntotroso are urgently appealing to the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, and the Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, for a solution. A Desperate Plea
The bridge, which connects the two towns, has been in a state of disrepair for months, leaving commuters frustrated and fearful for their safety. The situation has become so dire that residents are now pleading with the Minister for Roads to intervene and fix the bridge.

“We are tired of begging,” said one commuter. “We need the Minister to take action now. The bridge is a death trap, and it’s only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt.”

A Call to Action
The commuters are calling on the Minister to deploy emergency funds to repair the bridge and make it safe for use. They argue that the bridge is a vital transportation artery, and its closure would have significant economic and social impacts on the community.

“We understand that the government has a lot on its plate, but we cannot stress enough how critical this situation is,” said another commuter. “We need the Minister to take action now and fix the bridge. We are counting on them to make our roads safe again.”

A Response from the Authorities
The Minister for Roads has yet to respond to the commuters’ plea, but the issue is gaining traction on social media, with many residents expressing their frustration and disappointment with the state of the bridge.

Fix Our Bridge Please

As the situation continues to unfold, one thing is clear: the commuters of Acherensua and Ntotroso will not rest until the bridge is fixed and their roads are safe. The question now is: will the Minister for Roads take action, or will the commuters’ pleas fall on deaf ears?
