In a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of Nana Pooley’s, the police have arrested the girlfriend of the prime suspect, Briamah.
The girlfriend, identified as Grace Siaw, was taken into custody by the police on suspicion of aiding and abetting Briamah in the alleged murder of Nana Pooley.
According to sources close to the investigation, Grace Siaw had been providing shelter and support to Briamah, who is currently on the run from the law.

The police believe that Grace Siaw may have played a role in helping Briamah evade capture and may also have information about the circumstances surrounding Nana Pooley’s murder.
The arrest of Grace Siaw is seen as a significant development in the case, which has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice.
“The police have in their custody one GRACE SIAW, a girlfriend of DANIEL FEBIRI a.k.a BRAIMA a.k.a ASHI a.k.a Rasta, who concealed the suspect between 4th & 17th February and assisted him in escaping to Senegal through Côte d’Ivoire. She was brought to court on 25th February and remanded. She is set to appear in court today, and we await further developments.”
Pooley’s tragic passing, which occurred two weeks ago, sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian football community. He was fatally stabbed during Kotoko’s Matchday 19 fixture against Nsoatreman FC.
The police are urging anyone with information about Briamah’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in bringing him to justice.
Briamah On The Run
Lawyer Sarfo Duku Communication director for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, made this statement after the girlfriend of Pooley’s killer, Grace Siaw was arranged before a court in Sunyani. The other four culprits were also arranged in court.
The late Francis Yaw Frimpong, widely known as Nana Pooley, is set to be laid to rest on March 6, according to Alex Manu, Chairman of Asante Kotoko Circles.
In the meantime, Grace Siaw is expected to face charges related to her alleged role in aiding and abetting Briamah.
