Nsoatreman FC Charged By GFA For Misconduct

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially charged Nsoatreman FC with misconduct following their Premier League match against Medeama SC on January 8, 2025, held at Nana Konamansah Park.

The charges stem from several incidents during the game, including allegations of inadequate safety measures for Medeama players, inappropriate conduct by home fans, and obstructing a GFA-accredited cameraman from filming the match.

In a statement, the GFA detailed the allegations, citing violations of Article 42(6) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2019, and Section 16 of the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019. They asserted that Nsoatreman FC failed to ensure the safety of Medeama SC players and that their supporters exhibited unacceptable behavior. Additionally, the club is accused of hindering a GFA-accredited cameraman from performing their duties.

Nsoatreman FC has acknowledged the charges and responded, and is now awaiting a decision from the GFA Disciplinary Committee. The match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, has now gained attention due to these allegations, bringing scrutiny to matchday conduct and security concerns within the league.
