Charlotte Oduro, a well-known media personality and marriage counselor, has talked about her own development and how her viewpoints have evolved over time.
During an appearance on ‘The Stand Point’ with host Gifty Anti, Oduro acknowledged that her life experiences and growing maturity have caused her to take a different stance on some of the opinions she spoke early in her career.
Oduro said, “I believe in being mature,” in response to a question about whether she regrets any of her previous remarks. Since what I was taught in class five differed from what I now know, I firmly believe in education. We learn as we mature.
Reflecting on her early days in media, Oduro described the environment as “sharp” and “hot,” adding that her approach to certain issues has since evolved. “Some of the things I said back then, I wouldn’t say today, per my experience. I would choose a better way to speak about them or handle them. Until you experience something, until you learn, you don’t fully understand those issues,” she explained.
Oduro emphasized the importance of self-improvement, stating, “It’s only a fool who doesn’t want to change. For me, if I were to address some of these things now, it would be different.”
Marriage Dissolution Announced
Approximately two weeks ago, Apostle Solomon Oduro, the General Overseer of Royal Victory Family Church, formally announced the dissolution of his marriage to Rev. Charlotte Oduro.
The couple has reportedly been separated for the past three years. Rev. Charlotte Oduro is well-known for her frequent media appearances discussing relationship issues.
In an official press release, Apostle Solomon Oduro stated that their traditional marriage was formally dissolved last year. He attributed their separation to irreconcilable differences, despite repeated attempts to reconcile.
Apostle Oduro stated that the divorce was decided upon after extensive deliberation, prayer, and contemplation. He requested prayers for both himself and his ex-wife during this difficult time. “At this juncture, Apostle Oduro earnestly calls upon his loved ones, well-wishers, and the body of Christ to uphold both himself and Rev. Charlotte Oduro in prayer. He remains steadfast in his commitment to his divine calling and the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ,” the statement read.
Rev. Charlotte Oduro has not yet commented on the announcement.
