The legal team of gospel singer Diana Asamoah have issued a warning of potential legal action against a woman who alleged in a widely circulated video that the artist is a homosexual.
According to a press release from Zoe, Akyea Co., the firm representing Evangelist Asamoah, she is not a lesbian and does not engage in any form of lesbianism.
The video in question, which has gone viral on social media, features an unidentified woman making implications about Evangelist Diana Asamoah’s sexual orientation.
“Our client has instructed us to make it unequivocally clear that she is not a lesbian and does not engage in any form of lesbianism,” the statement reads.
Zoe, Akyea Co. challenged the unidentified accuser to come forward and provide evidence for her claims in court. The legal team stressed that if the accuser fails to substantiate her allegations, the public should dismiss the defamatory video as unfounded and treat it with the disdain it warrants.
“In the circumstances, we are throwing a challenge to the lady in the video to own up and justify her vile allegations, so we contest her baseless claim in a court of competent jurisdiction.
“If this lady does not boldly come out of her rut to justify her rantings, the general public should treat the circulating video with the contempt it deserves,” the statement added.

Diana Asamoah previously stated years ago that she is a virgin, waiting for God’s timing to bring the right man into her life. She now rejects the recent rumors as attempts to tarnish her reputation.
The gossip surrounding her began after a public dispute with fellow gospel artist Cecelia Marfo. Diana criticized Cecelia for firing her husband over a disagreement and urged her to focus on restoring her marriage rather than condemning others, such as Prophet Ogyaba, for alleged infidelity.

In the wake of this dispute, a TikTok user falsely claimed that Diana Asamoah was in a same-sex relationship, igniting a wave of online discussions. The user suggested that Diana’s supposed negative attitude had led her to seek relationships with women instead of men.
Diana has strongly refuted these claims, reiterating that nothing will deter her from her mission to preach the word of God.
