A&C Mall, a popular shopping destination in Accra, has reassured its customers that their vehicles damaged during the recent storm will be fully covered by insurance. The mall’s management has confirmed that they have a comprehensive insurance policy that covers damage to vehicles parked on their premises.
Following a severe storm on Tuesday, March 25, A&C Mall has assured customers whose vehicles were damaged in the incident that all repair costs will be fully covered by its insurers.
On Sunday, a severe storm hit Accra, causing widespread destruction and damage to properties, including vehicles parked at the A&C Mall. Many customers who had parked their vehicles at the mall were left stranded, with some reporting extensive damage to their cars.

The storm, which swept through Accra with heavy rains, strong winds, and lightning, caused significant damage in several areas. At A&C Mall in East Legon, the impact led to the collapse of a solar panel structure in the parking lot, resulting in damage to multiple vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
In a statement released on social media, A&C Mall management apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured customers that they are working closely with their insurance provider to ensure that all damaged vehicles are repaired.
“We understand the distress and inconvenience caused by the storm, and we want to assure our valued customers that we have them covered,” the statement read. “Our insurance policy will cover the full cost of repairs for all vehicles damaged during the storm.”
The mall’s management has also set up a dedicated claims process to facilitate the repair of damaged vehicles. Customers are required to provide proof of parking and documentation of the damage to their vehicles.
